2 milTrackBack has been highly successful in helping manufacturers like Fiat Group, General Motors and Mercedes-Benz improve the speed and quality of telephone lead follow-up by their Dealers across Europe. This week we reached the milestone of 2 million leads passing through our unique TrackBack product.

For each of these leads, our manufacturers have an objective measure of if, when and how often they were attempted and contacted, what the outcome was and a recording of the conversation. TrackBack provides real-time management information and transparency that allows for constant review and improvement in the sales process.

The marketing budgets relating to the sale of motor vehicles are huge. Car manufacturers spend vast sums of money to generate sales leads which are passed onto dealers through a Lead Management System for follow-up. However, the quality of the leads themselves and the lead follow-up is variable at best.

This obviously frustrates both the manufacturers and dealerships. Indeed research studies have shown that follow-up rates by car dealers across Europe can be as low as 19% meaning a deplorable 1 in 5 enquiries receives a call from a dealer. But by using TrackBack, our clients can achieve over 90% follow-up rate of leads, often with over 70% being attempted within an hour.

TrackBack has now measured the follow-up activity of 2,000,000 leads for 14 brands across Europe. This number will continue to grow quickly as more brands deploy TrackBack in more and more countries including Africa, Asia and North America.

Gareth Thomas, Managing Director comments “We are really proud to have reached this landmark and delighted that we are able to deliver such significant results to our clients. It wasn’t easy to scale our services from being able to handle thousands of leads in a single market to millions in multiple markets for multiple clients. But after a great deal of effort over several years and some brilliant programming by our amazing technical team, we are now well prepared for the future – and especially when we include the tracking of emails… watch this space!”
