FiatNow we can track what happens to leads issued to dealers in any country worldwide!

This has been a very exciting couple of months for Calls2Account. TrackBack has been providing transparency in the UK for several years between manufacturers and dealers over whether allocated leads have been called or not (it’s by far the best way to encourage someone to visit a showroom – and the faster you call them, the more likely they are to buy a car). The TrackBack technology has been through many iterations since the product’s inception in 2008, to the point where we’ve ironed out all of the show-stopping wrinkles that lie in wait for anyone trying to emulate our success. In short, we make something very complicated look incredibly simple and work well within our strict SLA obligations.

TrackBack Connecting telecom switches reliably to web-based management and reporting systems is challenging in the best of times. But when they also have to be closely integrated with car manufacturer legacy lead management systems (so TrackBack codes can be assigned to lead phone numbers, and post-call event data can update prospect records), the challenge is enormous – especially when you do this in real-time! Now add the complication that calls made in Italy had to be routed via our switches in the UK and back out through nodes in Italy, and you can see what an incredible challenge we faced – but one which we cracked last month to the delight of our clients (and much relief to our own staff – worked round the clock to make it happen).

In fact from the award of the contract by Fiat Group Autos in Turin to the first phone call being tracked in Italy, it took our team just four weeks! Of course they had a head start having deployed TrackBack for a number of UK manufacturers and their dealer networks, but this international challenge threw up many new issues which our amazing technical team took well in their stride.

We are looking forward to rolling this service out in France and Belgium in the next two months.
